Emmitt Smith voted the winner of "Dancing with the Stars"? Um, okay. Sorry, Mario, you was robbed! At least the Democrats are back in power. Maybe there is a God after all.

Have a Happy Turkey everyone! And go see CASINO ROYALE and BLOOD DIAMOND in December. Both are good to great films.

Celebrity sighting: while writing this from LAX, I just saw the actress who plays Carly on "General Hospital."

Mario vs. Emmit

All I have to say is -- Mario Lopez better fricken win "Dancing with the Stars"! He is, by far, a much better dancer. I don't get this whole praise for Emmit. Yeah, he's charming. And he's got a great smile. And yeah, he's a good dancer. But not as good as Mario. Or Joey for that matter. The finals should've been Mario vs. Joey. Now that would've been a finale!

I Work Hard For My Money

Absolutely nothing is new. All I do now is work full-time. No writing, a little gym time, and that's it. This is exactly what I was afraid would happen when I went back to work. Still trying to adjust to my schedule. Tried getting up in the morning to write and go to the gym before work. I think it worked once to write. Went to the gym after work several times, until I hurt my neck, shoulder and back. Now I'm better, so I'm going to try it again this coming week. Get up in the morning to write, go to work, then straight to the gym. Come home, make dinner and watch my TV recordings. Then bed, before I start it all over again. How exciting is my life right now? Not very.
